Protocols The 2002 and 2003 annual bishops’ conferences have adopted four protocols relating to the ministry of the BDF. The first (which had been in draft form since 1998) concerns the status and ministry of the BDF. The second relates to the recruitment and ministry of ordained women within the ADF. The third outlines the recruitment of ADF Reserve chaplains and arrangements for the conduct of their ministry in the context of parochial or diocesan responsibilities. The fourth covers the Chaplaincy In-service Training Scheme. Copies of the protocols can be downloaded here.
